Building 2

This is a more realistic building I've created in Bryce. It includes a helipad on top and some lobby details. The helipad has some lights that look good at night, and the outside of the building looks fine at night as well. The lobby interior includes some carpet, two elevators, two potted palm trees and a reception desk. I didn't light the lobby interior (and it is quite dark) mainly because radial lights caused an ugly glare in the glass around the lobby. This could probably be remedied with some tinkering with the glass texture, but I was running out of steam when I got that far. I'll leave you to it. :) The lobby rendering was done with a small radial light (light value of 5) in front of the elevators. The ugly glare should be noticeable in the glass near the reception desk. For anyone wanting to play with rendering inside the lobby, beware. All the class and shiny objects pushed render time up a fair amount (circa 10 minutes on my 1.2ghz machine). Click on the pictures for larger (800x600) versions. The large pictures are between 100-160KB each.

Grab the object file here (501KB).
