Here is an air conditioning unit I made for a small 3d competition. It's very simple and to the point, but I modelled it after an actual A/C unit I found through Google. The black grill area and nameplate are actual photo textures. If the unit will feature prominently in your scene, you may wish to adjust the the top and bottom textures to taste. The shot below is 1024x768 and roughly 260KB.
