BG FAQ - Overview Welcome to the Baldur's Gate FAQ. This FAQ covers alot of the more common questions relating to Baldur's Gate, primarily Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn and the Throne of Bhaal expansion. The Baldur's Gate series is one of the most in-depth and involved games ever, including not dozens but literally hundreds of hours of potential game play. Due to the complex nature of the game, this FAQ has been compiled to help explain some of the less-understood aspects of the game, as well as to help overcome sometimes frustrating obstacles. For ease of use, the FAQ has been broken into three parts. Click on the folders for a list of questions, or on the FAQ name for the full FAQ. Part 1: General FAQ -      This covers general questions about the entire series of games, or questions that aren't applicable to a certain installment.      1. What does THAC0 stand for?      2. If in ToB I dual a kit with limitations in wearing something into a thief and learn the use anything ability later, will this ability override my previous kit's limitations?      3. What is the color combination I need to light the flames in on the fourth level of Watcher's Keep?      4. I can't hit the magic golems in ToB!      5. Will the romance that I had in SOA continue in ToB?      6. Where do I upgrade my weapons in ToB now that I can't reach Cromwell anymore?      7.
